Welcome back!
Sage Z-AXIS Rod 4PC. We went back to the drawing board to create the incredible Sage Z-AXIS Rod 4PC. By improving the entire rod-building process, we created a rod that’s significantly lighter, stronger and easier to cast for anglers of all skill levels. The Z-Axis offers an entirely new level of fishability with unprecedented line feel, response and performance. But don’t take our word for it-visit a local fly shop and take it for a test spin.
FEATURES
We offer handles F and G. The Z-AXIS rod is beautifully complemented by the Sage 2550 reel as well as the Hardy Angel reel.
Sage ZXL Rod 4PC. The new Sage ZXL rods are significantly lighter, stronger and easier to cast for everyone who enjoys the relaxed casting rhythm of a smooth progressive taper. Through the miracle of our G5 process, we were able to remove every gram of unnecessary material from each blank and replace traditional glass hoop fibers with lighter, more responsive graphite.
Ready to experience life on the smooth side? This is a favourite for spring creek fishing; and those back-country moments when the versatility and pleasure of the medium to fast action delivery is perfect.
FEATURES
We love matching the ZXL rods with Sage 2500, or the classic Hardy LRH.
Sage BASS Fly Rod 4PC. The Sage BASS Fly Rod 4PC was developed after working with a small, tight-lipped group of serious bass anglers. We’ve developed two new rods that can drop a hair frog or an air-light diver with pinpoint accuracy and hardly a ripple on the water. From a fly fishing perspective, we’re talking about effortlessly pushing big, wind-resistant bugs into tight quarters.
Available in three models, Bluegill (new this year), Smallmouth and Largemouth, rods measure 7′11″, which slides them just under the strict bass tournament rules for rod length. Additionally, both rods are sold with custom bass taper fly lines and a travel case for protection. If you haven’t fished for bass on a fly-rod you do not know what you are missing. This is the perfect rod for bass fishing.
FEATURES
We love to match these species-specific rods with the Sage 2500, Galvan Open Back, or the Hardy Demon reels.
